A Study On Verb Valence And Its Sentence Pattern In Qinghua

Tsinghua bamboo slips one is the first of Warring States bamboo slips of Tsinghua university collecting and arranging.It contains nine parts:Yinzhi、Yingao、Chengwu、Baoxun、 Qiye、Jinteng、Huangmen、Zhaigong and Chuju.Yinzhi and Yingao belong to Shang dynasty’s books,they are the dialogue between Yiyin and Shangtang; Chengwu、Baoxun、Qiye、Jinteng、 Huangme、Zhaigong belong to Zhou dynasty’s books,Chuju records the changes of Chu state’s history.The research results of Tsinghua bamboo slips one have stayed at the interpretation of the text and historical textual research,but in linguistic systematic study,it hasn’t almost be studyed.Verb is the core components of making sentences,it is enormous and complex in parts of speech,this paper researches all of the verb and syntactic structures of Tsinghua bamboo slips one by the verb valence theory,showing linguistic features of its times.This paper has three parts:The first part is introduction.It mainly introduces research value and current situation of Tsinghua bamboo slips one,and summarize the development course of the study of the verb valence theory,synthesizinging the research results,we adopt Guoguang Yin’s opinions to analyze the verb and syntactic structures of this text.The second part is the core part which is divided into four chapters,the first three chapters’ contents is the analysis and studies of a valence verbs、the bivalent verbs、trivalent verbs,and describe their semantic features、valence ability and sentence types.The fourth chapter’s content is the special situation of the temporary turning class of other parts of speech and a temporary increase in valence to study and analyze.The third part is pandect.This part summarizes the distribution of the verbs、semantic features、valence ability of the pandect, generalizes the differences of the verbs’ basic sentence pattern and derivational sentence pattern,and induces the coordination rules of the conventional syntax of the semantic role.
