Ancient Chinese words can reflect the rich social and cultural connotation, through the study of such words, we are able to comprehensive and deeply understand the social politics, economy, culture and folk custom at that time. Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu,be writen by Meng Yuan-lao,as the writing of the Song dynasty, is a typical notes prose literature.The book has a profound impact on The Capital Ji Sheng, Meng Liang Lu,Wu Lin Old Story and Ru Meng Lu, etc.The book is helpful to studying the political system, economic, cultural, social life historical documents of Northern Song dynasty. With the oral, regional and characteristics of its language, it reflects the fact of the Song dynasty language. The preface to Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu points out:with the vulgar language and without any decorations, it is easy for everyone to undersand.There are not only a large number of Ming Wu words in this book, but also these words be usede frequently and concentrated, so it has a very high value of corpus.Previous scholars mostly from the angle of the history of urban history, folk custom, culture history, to study the Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu, and ignore the language features of it. Combine the advantages of two kinds of angle, my thesis focus on the introduction on MingWu words, explore its corpus value in the history of Chinese old vocabulary, at the same time study MingWu words because of the social culture, manifests the books vocabulary research the necessity and novelty.My thesis is on the basis of Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu what is published by Zhongzhou Ancient books Press, and referencing Deng Zhi Cheng’s Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu Annotation, Yi Yong Weng’s Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu Jian Zhu,Jiang Han Chun’s Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu Translation, etc.Do exhaustive description, classification and induction to the Ming Wu Words.On the basis of systematic analysis, this thesis reveals the cultural contained in the Northern Song dynasty society. It is useful for the perfection of ancient Chinese and the creation of The great Chinese Dictionary. On the way,we can make positive efforts for contacting Ming Wu words with cultural.The thesis mainly consists of the following several parts:The first part is introduction. This part includs the brief introduction of the Song Dynasty notes, the content of Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu, the author, the version, the research situation and corpus value. The second part is the overview of Ming Wu words in Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu. Firstly point out Ming Wu words meaning, definition standard and its cultural connotation,what lays a theoretical foundation for following Ming Wu words division and material choices.Then integrated using of literature research and the parallelism of induction, make the depiction of Ming Wu words in the book. Not only vocabulary overview, but also a description of the classification, statistics out the proportion of the various Ming Wu words, intuitive show MingWu words usage and characteristics. His book Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu, Ming Wu words is divided into six categories,31small classes, a total of617entries, including140monosyllabic word, polyphony section477words.The third part is cultural connotation analysis of Ming Wu words in the Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu. By studying these Ming Wu words, we can understand the fire culture and diet culture.The fourth part is the Ming Wu words’s value to the dictionary. The Ming Wu words of Dong Jing Meng Hua Lu are not only rich in the number, and with the characteristics of age.These words provide language support to the creation of The great Chinese Dictionary, and can make up for its compilation.The last part is conclusion. Summarizes and generalizes the research achievements of this paper has done, and indicates the direction of the further research.
