Research On The Words And Expressions Of "Badongtian"

“Ba Dong Tian” is a short novel in the Qing Dynasty.It keeps a lot of words which can reflect the spoken language in Modern Chinese Period.It is the important corpus of researching modern Chinese vocabulary.This paper is going to take the words in this book as the research subject.Through the study of the meaning of words,this paper makes an example of the colloquial words,and summarizes the characteristics of the use of the words “Ba Dong Tian”.At the same time,it also examines the development of words in the novel to the retention or extinction of modern Chinese,and sums up the characteristics of its development and evolution.In addition,we intend to correct and improve The Great Dictionary of Chinese by using the words in this book.This article consists five chapters.The first part is the introduction.First,it explains the reason of choosing the topic from the definition of the scope of modern Chinese,the importance of vocabulary research and the research status of “Ba Dong Tian”.It also puts forward the research methods and classification criteria of words.The second part is an example of the colloquial words contained in the “Ba Dong Tian” and summarizes its vocabulary characteristics.The third part mainly summarizes the overall characteristics of the words used in the “Ba Dong Tian”.At the same time,to study the existence and disappearance of words in the “Ba Dong Tian”to modern Chinese,and to summarize the characteristics of their development and evolution.The fourth part is based on the words in this book,we would like to correct and improve The Great Dictionary of Chinese from the supplementary entries,supplementary items,supplementary entries and early evidence.The fifth part is the summary of the research and the deficiency of the article.
