A Study Of Psychological Verbs In

The Shurangama Sutra is appeared in the Tang Dynasty.It is a mahayana buddhism classic. In the book the spoken language is obvious,corpus is enough,vocabular is rich,including so much psychological verbs. In principle of combining semantic and syntactic,I excerpts three hundrund and forty six psychological verbs in Shurangama Sutra,and synthesize the classification and the actual situation,the psychological verbs can be divided into six categories in the paper.They are sentiment psychological verbs.emotional psychological verbs,perceptive psychological verbs, cognitive psychological verbs,conative psychological verbs,causative psychological verbs.I respectively describes the semantic situation of psychological verbs in the book,summarizes its semantic feature,finally combing the historical development of the words. Full text is divided into four chapters.Chapter one is the introduction of the selected topic reason and the Shurangama sutra of corpus value and research status.Chapter two firstly is the introduction of identification and classification of the psychological verb. Then I introduce the actual appraisal standard of the Shurangama Sutra and classification in this paper. In principle of combining semantic and syntactic,the psychological verbs can be divided into six categories in the paper.They are sentiment psychological verbs,emotional psychological verbs,perceptive psychological verbs,cognitive psychological verbs,conative psychological verbs,causative psychological verbs. Then I introduce the subclass in the class.Chapter three of this article includes the explanation of the psychological verb semantic description,then I describe the psychological verb semantic characteristics.It is the preparation for the next chapter. I finally chose nine groups of typical synonyms for analysis.Chapter four is mainly obout the description of the historical development of the psychological verbs. First I examines the time in the ancient times the psychological verbs appeared,secondly I investigate which psychological verbs are still in use now,and which used today is changed in terms of semantics.From the study of the psychological verbs,we can not only understand the overview of the psychological verb and its semantic features in the Shurangama Sutra,also can understand its historical development and the origin condition. We can understand the Ancient Chinese psychological verbs’ connection with modern Chinese verbs We can do some useful contribution to the development of the vocabulary history and the whole history of Chinese language.
