When Chinese students study Korean pronunciation, a major difficulty is to distinguish the Lenis, Fortis and Aspirated, especially to distinguish the Lenis and Fortis. Recently there is a theory:"Chinese tone1and tone4are similar with Korean Fortis in some characters. And the tone2and tone3are similar with Korean Lenis" And there are some scholars who have proved that this theory has positive effect on distinguishing the Lenis and Fortis. However, there is a profound defect in this theory about Lenis that this theory is based on the first syllable and it cannot explain the case of non-syllables. So an experiment in this thesis was conducted to prove if the case of the second syllable in two-syllable words is also consistent with the theory above. And it turned to be that the second syllable with Lenis is more similar with Chinese tone1and tone4than tone2and tone3. Therefore, the case of the lenis in second syllable does not support this theory. Another point is that the data about "(?)"are very abnormal comparing to others. So a research about this point is conducted and the result is that whether in the first syllable or second syllable, the second syllable with Lenis are also closer to the tone1and tone2, which also does not support this theory above.
