The continuously sustained development of China has been set off a wave of learning Chinese. More and more foreigners began to join the tide of understanding China culture, learning Chinese knowledge and living and working in china. In such a trend,"Chinese Bridge", a Chinese proficiency competition which sponsored by China National International Promotion of Chinese Leadership Office emerged as the times require. The competition is aimed at letting the foreigners could learn Chinese also the Chinese culture more conscientiously."Chinese Bridge" Chinese proficiency competition has three series competitions including competition for foreign college students, for foreign secondary school students and for foreign Students in China. This paper takes the5th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese proficiency competition for foreign Students in China as the object of study. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the revelation for Teaching Chinese as a foreign language Based on the summary of the contest questions and Contestants’answer.This dissertation is divided into four parts:The first part is prolegomenon, which make a macro analysis on the fundamental reason for the rise of "Chinese Bridge" Chinese proficiency competition, then set forth the significance of research and research status, and also the research content and method.The second part of the thesis is to classify the content and analysis. From the language knowledge, the cultural knowledge and the language ability three-pronged approach, summarized contest questions by using statistical diagram.The third part is mainly further the analysis of the contestants’answers based on the above analysis. We will not take any contestant as a subject, because we tried to summarize Chinese learners may encounter the common problem in the learning process.The last part is to investigate the revelation for Teaching Chinese as a foreign language and is also the main point of this article. The detailed analysis on the research content above is helpful for us to discover Chinese learners’roadblocks while learning Chinese. It is also helpful for us to find the effective solution through the teaching process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
