A Study On Competition Questions Of The Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition For Foreign Students In China

As a branded competition held by the National Office of the InternationalPromotion of Chinese Language and Confucius Institute, the Chinese Bridge ChineseProficiency Competition for foreign students in China is known by more and moredomestic and international people.Based on the links and test questions in the final part of the fifth and sixth“Chinese Bridge” Competition, this paper aims to analyze the links of the competition,classify and summaries the test questions.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction, includingreasons for selection of the topic, purpose on investigation of the “Chinese Bridge”Competition, researches of current situation and methods.The second part will briefly introduce the “Chinese Bridge” Competition, setforth its characters, purposes and links. More about this Chinese language competitioncould be learnt through this chapter.Using the final test questions of the fifth and sixth Chinese language competition as research objects, the third part will divide them in to3categories which are basic knowledge of Chinese, Chinese cultural knowledge and China’s national conditions, and then classify, summaries and analyze the questions, finds out mistakes that the participants have made, in order to provide theoretical references for the guiding significant at last.The last part explains the enlightenment of the Chinese bridge context for foreignstudents in China. This article will analyze implications and recommendations in3aspects, which are classroom teaching method of Chinese, Chinese learners andFuture Chinese competition proposition.
