Russian annotation takes a significant part in Chinese to Russian textbooks of language learning. A usual way used in vocabulary teaching is to explain those words in students’ mother tongue. During the explanation process, for increasing word-teaching efficiency, accurate annotation can be delivered with the function of mother tongue’s positive transfer to help students understand the meaning and use of Chinese words. But word annotation inaccuracy could also bring us some negative effects in language using period.According to the previous research, the paper takes Comparative linguistics as research foundation, uses the New Practical Chinese Textbook edited by LIU Xun as research sample, takes example analysis as research pattern. The paper goes to combing analysis Russian annotation of New Practical Chinese Textbook (Russian Annotation), summarizing the mode and pattern of annotation and also categorizing some inappropriate Russian annotation through pragmatic,semantic and grammar with corresponding revision suggestions. Some suggestions like using symbol and picture annotation, establishing Russian annotation website or create CD form annotation with the textbook.
