| Although China has made great strides in the field of computer science, the country still lags behind much of the world. The most efficient way to gain knowledge in the field is to study abstracts. In this article, the author translates abstracts that have been published in the computer journal Distributed and Parallel Databases and analyzes the translations of the titles, the abstracts themselves, and the key words used in the abstracts. In the translation, text theory and parallel text theory help a lot. After analyzing the translations, the author also offers some translation advice. |
