The Group Research On Sichuan’s State County Magistrates On The Late Qing Dynast

The state county magistrate, namely officials at the grass-roots level, the world’s sovereignty in counties, the stability of nations depends on thousands of state officials. Taking Sichuan province as a case, with the aid of literature such as local Chronicles, official, officer pro, played in thin, and so on, by adopting the combination of literature reading and statistical analysis of research methods, try to analysis the magistrate group of Sichuan province in late Qing dynasty. The research content is mainly related to the native place distribution of this group, background, and their contributions.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter:The general situation of the administrative districts and counties in Sichuan province in the Qing dynasty. States country is the most grass-roots level of administrative division.Researching the magistrate, must be clear Sichuan administrative divisions and the situation of the establishment of officials in late Qing dynasty. There are two main contents, one is the local administrative division adopted by Qing dynasty and local situation; Secondly, establishing administrative districts and counties of Sichuan province official.The second chapter:the state county magistrate in Sichuan native distribution in late Qing dynasty. Mainly using local literature, adopting the method of statistics, to present the situation of distribution of Sichuan official’s native place in late Qing dynasty, on this basis, according to every table refining its distribution characteristics, embodied in the region, provinces, scrap are unevenly distributed, and more concentrated in the imperial examination of the developed area and the place donate was popular. While the reason, be different degree of relationship on challenge system and office area in Qing dynasty, donate, system and talent distribution factors.The third chapter:Sichuan state county magistrate’s background in the late Qing dynasty. Background is one of the important contents of the officials. This paper studies on late Qing dynasty, at the same time, compared it with the early Qing dynasty, finally the results showed that the background situation has three characteristics:the right direction was main, subject was the leader of the right direction; Donate was gaining, being mainstream of different earners;From an unknown person also occupies certain proportion.Its reason, the author thinks that the policy and rule induction, system regulation,social change or other factors. Because of its proportion, so should not be ignored.The fourth chapter:sketch the state county magistrate contribution and state governance. The central task of the magistrate is to governance state, actively deal with all kinds of state affairs. In the late Qing dynasty, many Sichuan magistrates have remarkable contribution, not only in traditional transaction such as the punishments,Qian Gu, bao-jia system, but also in new transaction lining with modern westernization, such as foreign affairs, riots and so on.It is through the implement of these functions to embody state chief of Sichuan province county of state governance.
