Self-control ability is an important component of self-consciousness. It is an important symbol which can lead people from naive to mature, from dependence to independence. And it is the guarantee of the self realization value, which can strengthen the self management and self mastery. The period of junior middle school is a critical stage of self-control ability. We often see many students lack of self-control ability produced a lot of bad behavior. Therefore, the self-control training system of junior middle school students have a positive role in promoting, both to the individual and the school education, and to the social development.This study based on the literature review, carried out experimental study on self-control training of junior middle school students. The experiment includes two parts: self-control course training and self-control practice training, two experiments were carried out in succession. To investigate the effect of the self-control training and practice patterns in the junior middle schools. First, teaching intervention on the experimental class of each grade of junior middle school with the self-control course training, course topics include seven areas, such as attention training, habits formation, rule consciousness, time management, emotional control, frustration coping, interpersonal relationship. And then selected the morning reading time as a carrier of self-control practice training, let students get the system self-control training through participation experiences. At the same time, further discussion the differences of practical training between complete self-control and self-control in others control.Research results show that:self-control level gradually decreases along with the increase of the grade of junior middle school students, the girl students’self-control in the junior middle school was significantly higher than the boys in the same grade. Self-control training can significantly improve the junior middle school students’ self-control level, but no significant difference in grade course intervention. Carrying out self-control practical training based on self-control course training also can improve self-control level, especially adding appropriate controlled factors from the teachers into self-control training, can obtain better short-term and early effect.
