On Tang Shi 's Theory Of Poetic Criticism

In1940s,Chinese modern poetics emerged a new trend ofmodernization——"Modern poetry".Chinese modern poetry theory had been facingthe dual impact and challenge of the Chinese classical poetry culture and traditionalpoetics,and Western poetry and Poetics.When many modern poets and poetry criticsfaced of the influence of the two aspects and challenges, they was trying to explore anew way of Chinese poetic criticism.Tang Shi is one of them, and his exploration inthis way have been produced the profound significance to the development of Chinesemodern poetry criticism.Based on the existing academic achievements,this article try to put the Tang shipoem study in the specific historical and cultural background. It is the analysis of thecharacteristics of mind, Tang shi’s poetry criticism which aimed "people" as the theme,and the influence and deficiency of Tang shi’s poetry criticism etc that reveal thatTang shi’s Poetics Criticism have different qualities from other centered theory,andreveal that Tang shi’s Poetics Criticism have unique value and significance in theChinese Modern Poetics Criticism.This part of summary introduces the research history and status of the Tang shi’spoetry criticism theory.The first chapter focuses on the "combined" thinkingcharacteristic’s diversity,in the late of1940s,of tang shi’s poetry criticism in thespecial historical and cultural background.It revealed the difference from themainstream criticism of poetry criticism.The second chapter mainly discusses someunique thinking of Tang shi’s poetry criticism theory to the theme of"people" andconcretely analysis and discusses the relationship between Tang shi’s poetry criticismtheory and Poetics of at all times and in all countries.The third chapter focuses ontwo aspects of effects and shortcomings of Tang’s criticism practice.
