Silk manuscript Chunqiu Shiyu was excavated from Tomb3at MaWang Dui, Changsha city, Hunan province in1973. This is one of themore important ancient books.Not only it provided valuable statisticsfor the study of the Spring and Autumn Period of history,but also forthe study of ancient Chinese language situation for us.This article wasbased on Ma Wang Dui the third silk manuscripts·Chunqiu Shiyuannotations (WenWu publishing company),and refered to the researchmethods and results of the previous,such as ZuoZhuan MengZi YanziChunqiu Baoshan Chujian to do Comprehensive studies.This article was basedon the grammatical function of the word divide them into sixcategories.Then according to the significance subdivide them and foreach category belonging to a specific content words do specificinterpretation or analysis,the article enriched the study of Chinesevocabulary.This paper consists of introduction,text, conclusion, appendixfour parts.Introduction mainly discussed about the overview, theresearch of the history and status, the content, the significance, thewriting method of Chunqiu Shiyu and so on.Text discussed defines themeaning, the part of speech,grammatical function of notional word inChunqiu Shiyu and assisted with synchronic and diachronic documents toproved.The conclusion is the part that summary statistics of the usage ofeach category. The appendix summed up notional words of ChunqiuShiyu, and make a chart that in order to sequencer indexing system.
