| Revenge culture has been one of the key issues of culture, which comes from long history inChina. Revenge culture has a great influence on the creation of Chinese literary works and filmmaking. Revenge Culture naturally possesses the elements of dramatic factors and culturalconnotations, which are the essentials for film making. It provides numerous of resources for filmcreation as well. However, in China the current creation of revenge motif films has been limited andhard to be broken through; it is because Revenge Culture was rooted in the feudal society of Chinaand it could not be matched with the values of modern society any more.This article summarizes the overview of Chinese Revenge Culture, analyzes the motivationand performance of Revenge film and seeks for the general rules of expressing the revenge motiffilms. Also, this article concludes the critically inheritance of revenge motif films, which was basedon the development of traditional culture, and then provides some innovations for the futurecreation of the revenge motif films. |
