A Study On The Rites Of Hui People In Ningnan And Longdong

Biaohua is a popularly traditional ritual in southern Ningxia and eastern Gansu of the Hui ethnic group. This ritual is presented by particular person,namely, Imam or students of the mosque in plain and fluent language organized into a sentence with certain rhythm and rhyme, in the form of a similar rap perform.Biaohua ritual involved wedding scene, pleasing move of the imam, graduation and circumcision, funeral and so on. But as the the hui culture improvement,Biaohua ritual also changed with the content and form of southern Ningxia and eastern Gansu of The Hui ethnic group.Investigation has made the comprehensive understanding Biaohua ritual rising,characteristic,function in Xiji, HaiYuan, JingYuan, Tongxin,Pingliang.The author considered the Biaohua ritual of southern Ningxia and eastern Gansu of The Hui ethnic group not only has the function of social members, education and identity,but also has its unique characteristics by influencing of different regional and religious sect. In the1990s,the wedding Biaohua ritual includes the biaozhenxian, dowry,and this kind of rap speech off the cuff, provoking everybody laughing, added the beaming of the wedding.This article is divided into five parts, mainly by the rise of the Biaohua ritual of its rising,developing and fading as the main line,and discussed the characteristics and its functions.The first part is to trace the origin Biaohua ritual and analyze its dispersed areas. Through a lot of reading literature,and comparing to other Ethnic minorities ritual,The author thought that the rise of Biaohua ritual has close relations with teching of towers. However, the academia for Biaohua study is less, so ritual of origin remains to be fastidious.The second part is mainly on the Biaohua ritual to classify in different scenarios.Through the classification it can be seen.That the Biaohua ritual in different historical periods have different contents and forms. The Biaohua ritual contents and forms have differences between Changing with the change of social culture,the different historical periods content and form.The third part mainly analyzes the Biaohua ritual characteristics and its functions.The Biaohua ritual has the advantage than other religious propaganda form which is popular.And easy to understand and remember.When teaching the doctrine, sharia law to believers in the religious activities,and believers accept easily.At the same time,the Biaohua rituals function has played a huge role in the development and spread of the Islam.The fourth part is combing to the Biaohua rituals inheritor and ways of inheritance.The Biaohua ritual has separated from the traditional Mosque Education.So that it makes Biaohua rituals inheritance faulting.Although modern islamic education institution assumes the role of islamic inheritor,it can’t play the role of traditional cultural heritage,and for lack of inheritor in value of traditional folk culture.The fifth part mainly analyzes the present situation, reasons for fading of Biaohua ritual.The Biaohua ritual fading is not only enhancement of the concept of time,but also it has close relations between living environment, life level, etc.In addition,the author have found that religious activities has once stopped in the Cultural Revolution. Affter Cultural Revolution, Biaohua ritual has great changes in content and form.And some areas have even abolished.The Biaohua ritual fading is main obstacles for the spread of islamic culture,particularly important traditional culture in southern Ningxia and Gansu eastern of The Hui ethnic group difficult to continue.In this article, through the discussion of the above five parts,the Biaohua ritual,as a way of the people expression of in southern Ningxia and eastern Gansu of The Hui ethnic group,has a huge role in daily religious life.Meanbwhile,the Biaohua ritual, as a medium for the spread of islamic culture,influences a lot on the development of the traditional culture of the the Hui ethnic group.The author thougth that the traditional ritual of Biaohua is worth keeping and developing in southern Ningxia and eastern Gansu of The Hui ethnic group.
