As the usage frequency of the class of preposition"wei" is comparatively high in Chinese language, as well as the meaning and usage are relatively complex, the native English Speakers may feel a certain degree of difficult when learning the preposition"wei".We investigate the inter-language corpus and the target language corpus, analysis and compare the output of the preposition"wei"in the two corpuses, and we also describe and analyze the error ratio of each usage.Assisted with the questionnaire, we get a comprehensive study of the regulation of its acquisition. Using the research results of this paper, we put forward some suggestions on the relevant language teaching syllabus and textbooks in the layout.This paper consists of six chapters, respectively:Chapter one introduces the meaning and values of this topic, explains the research methods and ideas of this paper,as well as reviews relevant research results.Chapter two discusses the classification of the class of preposition"wei".Taking reference of predecessors’points of view, we reclassify the function and usage of the class of preposition "wei"Chapter three compares the class of preposition "wei" with the foreign equivalents in English.Combined with several common Chinese-English dictionaries, we compare the meaning and usage of these corresponding words and phrases in the two languages.Chapter four describes the acquisition of the class of preposition "wei". This chapter includes three parts:corpus analysis, questionnaire design and analysis,and the study on the acquisition of the class of preposition "wei". On the basis of the comprehensive study of the interlanguage corpus, the target language corpus and the questionnaire results, we draw a tendentious acquisition order.Chapter five shows some relevant teaching suggestions. Using the research results in this paper, combining with the language design of the relevant language teaching syllabus and the two sets of Chinese text books,Boya Chinse and Developing Chinese, we put forward some suggestions on the relevant language teaching syllabus and textbooks in the layout.Chapter six:conclusion.
