On The Application Of "Translation" And "Meaning" In Literary Translation With The Translation Of "Kaleidoscope Of Wuyangling"

Literary translation is complicated. The transfer of language can not meet the requirements of literary translation. As a result, translators need to do recreation within certain extent according to the source material deliberately. Literary translation can be seen as an art. Doctor Jin Yuelin talked about language and translation specially in his book On Knowledge. He put forward two kinds of translation strategies-sense translation and taste translation from a brand new perspective. This theory is helpful for translation studies, especially for literary translation studies. Also it is instructive to recreation in literary translation. This text looks into the use of sense translation and taste translation as well as their inter-file dependency in literary translation.
