A Study On The Collection Of Dream Books In The Qin Dynasty Of Yuelu Academy

The Zhan meng shu (占梦书) of Qin bamboo slips collected in Yuelu Academy is a sort of oneiromancy document which used to interpret dreams. This is the first time this kind of book show up in the world, before this, only books’names had been recorded in some traditional literature, but details are unknown. The Zhan meng shu(占梦书)published in2010, it owns about1000characters. Many scholars have been attached their attentions to study its characters, calligraphy, method of oneiromancy and so on and achieved significant achievements. But one the other hand, the text consists of fairy concise terms, and reference material is rather limited, so still many issues are worth studying.The thesis studys the Zhan meng shu(占梦书)from four aspects. Firstly, recheck the photos of these bamboo slips and find some new feature of the bamboo slips. Secondly, base on the previous research of textual recognization and interpretation, also joins in my own opinions, then acquire a new version of text. Thirdly, gathering the unea rthed documents which contain the content of oneiromancy or ceremony to eliminate ominous dreams, discuss their difference and identical part with the Zhan meng shu (占梦书).Lastly, according to the content of the Zhan meng shu (占梦书),together with the material in the traditional literature of Qin and Han dynasties, discusses the oneiromancy custom at that time.
