Translation section:The original text is excerpted from The Sketch of the Development of Disease Control and Prevention System, whose author is Professor Hao Mo from the College of Public Health of Fudan University. The general idea of it is that the development of disease control and prevention system has been incorporated into the national development programme, turning into one of the important tasks of building a harmonious society. The undertaking of disease control and prevention is confronted with an unprecedented development opportunity. At present, the disease control and prevention mechanism, which is led by the government, cooperated by relevant departments and participated by society, has been basically established; the duties have been progressively clear within the health system, the administrative departments in the health system, disease control and prevention institutions, medical institutions, community health service centers in towns and cities and health centers in small villages. The service ability and the emergency response capacity have been constantly improved.Discussion section:It is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction. This part mainly says that translation starts from comprehension and ends with expression; translation is to translate the source language into the "tasty" target languate based on accurately "tasting" it. The second part is comprehension requires to be "tasted". This part discusses how to correctly comprehend the words in the context, how to correctly comprehend Chinese cultural words and expressions, how to correctly comprehend the logical relation, and how to fully understand the original background by combining with the examples in translation. The third part is expression requires to be "tasty". This part explains the two aspects which should be paid attention during the expression period, including the dialectical unity of faithfulness and coherence, the dialectical unity of content and form. The fourth part is conclusion. This part reaffirms the very importance of comprehension and expression in translation process and they are closely related with each other.
