“Sensory verbs”is an important small class of Chinese verbs,it plays animportant roll of the teaching Chinese as a second language.nonetheless,based on thecurrent research results, none has set their eyes on sensory verbs from the HSK.therefore, the author select sensory verbs from the HSK for the research, try toanalyze them by classifying and observing the quantity, property, structure, meaning,using and teaching strategy of different sensory verbs,in order to provide valuablereference for the vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a second language.This article ismainly divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction of motivation to choose this topic, researchcontents, research methods, corpus source and review of current study on sensoryverbs.The second part is a study of property and structure of sensory verbs from theHSK.The third part is to research the meaning and using of sensory verbs. In detail,Parsing the concept and emotional meaning of sensory verbs from the HSK, study ofdistribution and using of sensory verbs in BOYA Chinese.The fourth part, based on the front parts,research the teaching strategies aboutsensory verbs in the teaching Chinese as a second language.The fifth part, summarize the research contents of the whole article.
