A Study On Teachers' Language Violence

Language is human communication tool, is a bridge for people to convey thefeelings of. Language is the carrier of information education and teaching activities tothe normal development. Cold violence teachers use insulting, satirist, publicexposure such as language to college students, not only to the students’ self-esteemand psychological harm, it is a moral injustices.Language violence is a teacher by virtue of their own rights and advantageposition, using insults, name-calling, satire, discrimination and other language forstudents, directly or indirectly, resulting in students’ dignity, mental health andpersonal reputation infringement and harmful behavior. The teacher is the engineer ofthe human soul, is an example and model of learning. Once the teachers’ languagedevelopment toward violence, on the progress of human society is a benefit witho utharm.Language violence has generalization trend currently in primary and secondaryschools in China, the serious consequences have become increasingly prominent.Hazard analysis of teachers’ language violence and its causes, helps to bring attentionto the teacher’s language violence, aims to encourage teachers, schools and societychange idea, establish a correct view of the students, education, promote thedevelopment of education, to the positive direction of civilization.The introduction part describes the research origin, research review, researchvalue and significance.
