Abstract:Teacher, is the person who teach students knowledge,tell students the way to live and answer students’questions. From ancient times to now, there are many statements of describing teachers, in our opinions, teachers represents a candle and gardeners, which is lofty, selfless work for their students. But with the changing times, Teacher’s image has also significant changes over these years. What we need are teachers with new professional consciousness and new mind but not which only knowing teaching. Film becomes an essential spiritual and cultural entertainment for people in our country, film’s characters, and social background are the product of this era. Since China’s reform and opening, China has significant changes in economic, political, cultural and other aspects. And China’s primary and secondary school teachers’images have also significant changes; these changes appear in our films. In this thesis, we use of the film, which is the media with a large audience is familiar; we analysis Chinese primary and secondary teachers image changes in movie since China’s reform and opening.This thesis divides three parts. Firstly, we divided into three periods. Then, we summarized the main characteristics of these Chinese primary and secondary school teachers more than three decades. We analyzed the background every period and make generalizations. Then, we analyzed teachers’images in primary and secondary school in the Chinese film. Lastly, we summarized and evaluated teachers’ changing image of each period in the movie. This thesis sorted out the change of teachers’image in the Chinese movie and understands the people view on teachers; establish rational teacher’s authority, and teachers formed a rational identity. |
