China’s comprehensive national strength, gradually increasing the influenceof the world,and the rapid development of Chinese international education, thenumber of people around the world study Chinese in China is increasing year byyear. Many countries have opened Chinese language courses. Several Chineselearners come from developed countries, like Europe, America, and otherEnglish-speaking countries. The subject is an important part of grammar learningof teaching Chinese as the second language. This article attempts to study Chineseand English subject from the contrast analysis perspective, analyzes thesimilarities and differences between Chinese and English subject constitute form,according to these similarities and differences, we predict the difficulty ofteaching, put forward teaching strategies and design.This paper is divided into fifth parts,the first part is the detailed contrastiveresearch status of Chinese and English subject, and the Chinese teachingapplication of Chinese and English subject comparison. Through the integratedapplication of literature and comparative analysis, this paper uses the results ofChinese and English subject comparative analysis to provide Chinese subjectappropriate teaching strategies and teaching design.The second part briefly discusses Chinese and English subject, the subject isimportant syntactic component, which means that the object predicate statements.The part deeply analyzes similarities and differences of the Chinese and Englishnouns, pronouns, numerals, quantifiers as the subject. The Chinese verb-objectphrase, the subordinate phrase, the joint phrase and the subject-predicate phrase isbasically corresponding to the same position in English. The paper explainedthrough examples comparing English Subjects constitute forms of the same points,and other forms as subject, such as the existential sentences,"de" phrase assubject and "it" as a form subject, verb-ing and infinitive as the subject of the casein English.The third part is the content of contrastive analysis of subject and topic between Chinese and English. This part analyzes subject and topic in Chinese,English subject and topic, compares the priority of Chinese subjects and topicswith English subjects and topics.The fourth part is the Chinese subject teaching strategies, including teachingprinciples and teaching methods; then combine with the analysis result of thesecond part, do the appropriate topic practice to make the subject and topicteaching design to native English-speaking learners studying Chinese as secondlanguage.The conclusion is study achievements, study problems and future directions.
