In the research on Chinese vocabulary, the dualsyllable words research hasbeen dominating for a long time, people didn’t pay much attention to trisyllablewords till90s last century. With the expanding of Chinese vocabulary system, therelative amount of trisyllable words appearing a fast increasing condition, and thenmade the academia started to pay attention to it. After20years’ research, people havegot some achievement, including the number of syllable, the thinking way of coinage,the form of words, and the grammatical meaning etc. Through some arguement likewhether trisyllable ought to be words or phrase and coinage ability are still going on,we’ve already clearly felt Chinese trisyllable words has become an unneglectedcluster. Besides the theory researching side, in Teaching Chinese to ForeignerSpeakers Courses, we also need to take necessary cognition and analysis aboutteaching outline and mession, which could not only help students to grasp practicalvocabulary accurately, but also train some ability to Chinese words cognition. Besidesgives a brief introduction about some research achievement and coinage way and thewords’ form of trisyllable words, this thesis also makes a statistical collation of all thetrisyllable words in two wildly used series of teaching material textbooks whereauthor did practice teaching before, and will give analysis on meaning distributions,forms and speeches from trisyllable words angles. And then list many hot words fromthese years and analyse their meaning and forms, at last try to discuss if them can beused in Teaching Chinese to Foreigner Speakers Courses and some practicableteaching fashions.
