Analysis On The Quasi-trisyllable Words Of The Modern Chinese

Along with the interactive development of social and language,there are a classof morphemes whose derivitional competence are particularly strong,with a degree ofsemantic bleaching,semantic adhension and the place of which are fixed,Generalizedmorphologies defined these morphemes as quasi-affixes.Through the comparative study, we conclude that:the intire set of quasi-affixes isa continuum,the Semantic Transparency of which is higher than typical affixes indegree.Because of the higher Semantic Ttansparency,the quasi-affixes’ derivitionalcompetence is strong. The quasi-affixes have the function of lexicalizing thephraze,this function performance that when bound with a phraze and sentence,thewhole structure is lexicaled and functioned with morphemes.A large number ofquasi-affix trisyllabic words appeared in Modern Chinese,which is based on thetraditional advangtage of reserving disyllable.These affixes are all quasi-affixes,basedon the large-scale corpus, we analysed and investigated into the types and function ofquasi-affixes.According to the source,quasi-affixes can be classified as loan sourcequasi-affixes and self source quasi-affixes.According to the syllable, the quasi-affixescan be classified as monosyllabic and disyllabic quasi-affixes.The derivationalcompetence of quasi-suffixes is stronger than quasi-prefixes.The quasi-prefixes arealways loan source quasi-affixes.The disyllable developed from compounded words(“-zhuyi”-主义.”-gongcheng”-工程)are provided with the character of unidirectionalhigh combinability, but these words can’t accord with the criterion of quasi-affix,sothe disyllable are not quasi-affix.There is a special kind of quasi-affixes,which aredisyllable,with overlapping the same syllable(“-youyou”-油油).These disyllabicquasi-affixes morphemes are of nature of adjective.The proportion of quasi-affixtrisyllable is higher than the quasi-affix disyllable， although the quasi-affixesdetivational forms are’t of the same syllable.The quasi-prefixes are semantic quasi-affixes,which suplement the meaning ofthe whole word.However,the quasi-suffixes are semantic-gramatic quasi-affixes,who have the function of marking the part of speech.The loan source quasi-affixes words possess the feature of specialty and writtensexual,the feature of self source quasi-affixes words are colloquial and optional.Thefunnction of marking the speech of quasi-prefixes is weaker than quasi-suffixes.Onthe event coercion triggered,the quasi-suffix has this trait,which suggest a unifiedexplanation when deconstruction and comprehension,this very character thequasi-prefixes don’t possess.The development of trisyllable associated with the system constructed ofdisyllable.The new quasi-affix words apt to root with disyllable and formderivational words.The trisyllable conformed the change which from the radicalsemantic contribution to character semantic and word form contribution.Thederivational method is economy and fit with the fast food of convenience andquickness.In using of quasi-trisyllable,the uesers trend to persuit the pragmaticmentality,he innovation,the singularity,in order to public personality throughlanguage.At the same time, the mass media strengthen the widely using, spreadingand re-creation of the quasi-trisyllable.The individual psychology unified with thepsycho-social.According to The Language and Cognition, the Metaphor and Cognitionmechannism of Tension and Controversion promote the development ofquasi-trisyllable.Because of the function of the phraze lexicalizing,the quasi-affixes possess thetrait of principle of economy,which surge the development of quasi-trisyllable.
