| Nowadays the internet is an indispensable part of modern life and online study hasbecome one of the most important ways of learning. The French websites especiallydesigned for learning Chinese having existed for a long time in France, are playing animportant role for French people learning Chinese, among which some arewell-known and frequently used by the French learners. These websites are easilysorted out when we use searching engines to find out the French Chinese learningwebsites in France.Having researched and made a general introduction on the French Chinese learningwebsites in France, among which this dissertation identified and focused on studyingthe10of them. With the theory of the Nine Criteria for Evaluating Educational WebSites from Boklaschuk, K.&Caisse, K., by referring the resent researches onevaluating the websites of learning Chinese as a second language, the dissertationreaches its own framework to evaluate these10French Chinese learning websitesfrom the following8aspects: the nature of the website, the audience, credibility,richness, practicality, entertainment, interactive and currency of the content of thewebsites.The research shows that the the free Chinese learning websites, less than half of allthe websites, contain the richest French materials and information of learning Chineseand most interactive Chinese learning forum, as well as having created the most timesof web visits. These French Chinese learning websites are characteristic with theirrichness in Chinese learning materials and well interactive forum, while the materialsare proved with the defects of a lack of being professionally edited used neitherChinese as a second language so that they are less effective and useful than theexpected results. After having studied and analyzed these French Chinese learning websites, thedissertation at the end poses its views on the localized Chinese learning websites andprospects the establishing and the growth of such kind of websites, which will belikely well developed with the carrying on of the Chinese international educationprogram. |
