Solfeggio is an important and basic music subject, aiming at training the learnersto have the ability to appreciate music. The learning process of solfeggio is to putexternal sound into relevant content for memory, build rational inner hearing, and thenretrieve the external sound effect from the already formed inner musicality, by makinguse of body sensory system including auditory sense, visual sense, tactile sense, andkinesthesis. Such training process reflect the aim of learning this subject, that is, todevelop the learners’ ability of memorizing music. Learning solfeggio by making useof memorizing music breaks away from recording the musical note in traditionalteaching. It is a way to record the learning content based on the memory system inbrain, which can enhance the learning impression, and extend the period ofknowledge memorization. This paper firstly studies various characters for formationof human memory, and then points out several method of learning solfeggio based onthe features of memorization. The content to be learned in the course is summarizedand classified according to the learning characters, so as to conduct common researchand individual treatment on the training methods. The training methods includeenhancement of external sound impression by resulted pictures from imagination,reminding of the tendency of external sound by resulted fluctuation from pitch, recallof disappeared external sound by resulted reverberation in brain from the alreadypassed sound. Finally, the teaching method of memorizing music shall be applied inclass teaching practice, in order to continually improve teaching theories in practice. Itaims to enable learners to be accustomed to and manipulate such learning methods, soas to make learners experience the superiority of developing music memorization,improve the ability of appreciating and understanding music by means of musicmemorization, and apply music memorization into musical practice to reflect theimportance of solfeggio course.
