The main objects of study of this paper have aimed at the newly emerging quasiaffixes in Chinese. The author comprehensively adopted relative knowledge and research results of the modern Chinese vocabulary and grammar theories. Combing description and interpretation, static and dynamic, synchronic and diachronic, this paper has tried to analyze and describe the quasiaffixes in modern Chinese from different perspectives so as to clearly understanding the development of the vocabulary of Chinese and the word-building methods. It also provides certain theoretical basis for the word-building methods of modern Chinese and offers the researching materials for the researches of linguistic culture during selected period. Certain helps have been given for improving the lexicography and enhancing the teaching quality of the vocabulary in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. There are five parts in this paper, which includes introduction as the first part, the follow three are the main bodies and the last one as the epilogue.Introduction. This chapter introduces the researching results and current researching situations of the quasiaffixes of modern Chinese from the predecessors. The reaching significances, researching methods have been used and the sources of the corpus are included.The first Chapter argues the characteristics and definitions of the quasiaffixes in modern Chinese, of which the grammaticalization, polarization and productivity analysis have been complemented. It provides some thoughts of the quasiaffixes in certain aspects as: wordages and words of speaking, grammaticalization of the semantic as the basis, the gauge of the grammaticalization of the semantic, the structural pattern of morphology and the structural pattern of semantic.The second chapter introduces the newly emerging quasiaffixes referenced to human in modern Chinese, the description and collection of which have been shown in this chapter. Statistics of the old quasiaffixes referenced to human in modern Chinese has been made and their characteristics have been concluded. It also analyzes the semantic changes, ways of word formation, semantic structures and the characteristics of the newly emerging quasiaffixes.The third chapter introduces the newly emerging quasiaffixes which are not referenced to human in modern Chinese, the description and collection of which have been shown in this chapter. Statistics of the old quasiaffixes referenced to human in modern Chinese has been made and their characteristics have been concluded. It also analyzes the semantic changes, ways of word formation, semantic structures and the characteristics of the newly emerging quasiaffixes.
