In the light of the Frame Semantics and other theories as well as the FrameNet, the paper focuses on the Domain of Causative-composite Frame to explore the use of the frame-semantic analysis. The paper makes a systematic investigation of the lexical units in the Domain of Causative-composite Frame and builds the Lexicon; it builds frame elements; it studies the core and the non-core elements in the domain and their syntactic realizations. The paper consists of 7 chapters.Chapter one mainly discusses the resean of choosing the subject.How to arrange the chapter.To explain the theoy we used .To provide an overview related to Causative structure and the resource of example setence, etc.Chapter two studies frames in the Domain of Causative-composite Frame of Chinese and their hierarchy system. The paper offers some principles and methods for the frames, and constructs a series of basic frames. Semantic frames are a multi-layer system, consisting of frames in the first layer of domain, in the second layer of sub-domain, and the base layer.Chapter theree discusses the lexical units. The properties and the scope of the verbs and their semantic features, semantic types and the like are much more treated.Chapter four study the core elements as well as the non-core elements and their syntactic realizations. Markers of representing the frame elements are to be found to a great extent.Chapter five describes and analyzes the frame-semantic constructions in the Domain of Causative-composite Frame. The frame-semantic constructions can be classified into three types: the basic construction, the lengthened construction and the compound construction. Two semantic patterns should be treated separately, i.e. the formulas and the syntactic patterns.Chapter six describes and analyzes Causative-sentences ang classfy them.To conclude the syntactic realizations of the Causative- composite Frame of Chinese.Chapter seven disscuses some questions needed to be studied.
