Public service advertizing signs is a common language form in social life. Investigating on the practical use of outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing, this paper can not only help people have an understanding of the use of the outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing, but also can help dig out the potential problems from writing to the attention of the audience and the possible problems existing in the psychological acceptance level.The outside public service advertizing signs spreading in Nanjing is the research target in this paper. There are totally three chapters in this paper. Chapter one is the researching result and analysis of the outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing. This chapter also systematically introduces the researching target and methods used in this study, the specific classification and statistics of the collected outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing. Specific analysis was made in this chapter, according to the purpose of the outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing, there are three types of those signs, namely, advocated signs, recommended signs and warning signs. Then, this chapter further analyzes the succinct words and harmonious rhyme in language form, and three features appearing in language content including closely connected with reality, representing humanistic feelings and showing the region characteristics. Chapter two mainly study with the outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing and social cultural psychology, investigating the practical effects of the outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing from social cultural psychology level. Chapter three introduces the main problems existing in the outside public service advertizing signs in Nanjing and resolving methods. This chapter analyzes several problems existing in Nanjing’s public service advertizing signs and reasons of these problems, and puts forward to some corresponding specification strategies solving these problems including, insisting in improving human quality as essence, strict governance according to law, establishing and perfecting the social supervision network.
