Research And Development Of Longzhou Society Fire Art Festival And Its Visual Image Design

Long County is also known as Longzhou. The ancestors here, apart from building wealth by hand and wisdom, have created and inherited a magnificent folk culture-the Longzhou local club fire through words, deeds and tacit understandings. With its unique artistic charm, the Longzhou local club fire has inspired the sons and daughters of Longzhou from generation to generation, and become a treasure in Longzhou’s folk culture. Culture is a symbol of ethnic distinctions. But every ethnic culture has something that remains essentially the same despite all apparent in evolutionary process, which is tradition. Only by keeping up its tradition can an ethnic group stand proudly among all the peoples of the world. Therefore, to inherit the Longzhou local club fire is an arduous but glorious task for our generation. This paper aims to propagandize the inheritance of the Longzhou local club fire in a new visual language and a new propagation mode by combining the professional research field with the studies on the visual image system design of Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival. In this paper, I start with real case studies and follow-up surveys, for the purpose of researching and developing a complete visual image system with transmission values for Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival.This paper makes an analysis on the artistic characteristics and cultural values of the Longzhou local club fire culture from the perspective of the visual image design of Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival as well as the background, research significance and research status of club fire culture. Through an exploration on the historic evolution of the Longzhou local club fire and an analysis on its artistic values, the paper extracts design elements from the type of its club fire, facial makeup modelling and color application, to analyze the present situation of the visual image design for Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival; by combining the local actual cultural and economic conditions, the paper aims to find out an appropriate design orientation for the visual image design of Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival, to extract and shape the visual image design of Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival in an all-round manner, and expatiate on the inner components of the visual image design of Longzhou Local Club Fire Art Festival, in hope of promoting the transmission and inheritance of the club fire culture to some extent.The Longzhou local club fire culture highlighted in this paper is not only a representative of Chinese traditional culture, but also a name card of our local culture.
