In the modern Chinese, the separable words is a special kind of phenomenon, in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and is the key point and the difficulty of teaching. When each national, each stage foreign students use separable words, they will appear errors frequently.This paper first has carried on the elaboration from the main body angle to the separable words and it’s correlation questions. Next, we have made the investigation and the statistics about errors according to the corpus and the questionnaire to the foreign student separable words. Then through the analysis of the investigated statistics, we have made the classification based on the mistake in the analysis foundation of the separable words, and discussed the reason that foreign students had made about separable words. Finally we put forward relevant teaching strategies according to the error that foreign students have made.
