| New words is a mirror of social reality, as the most open and active part of language system. It compared to other forms of language is more expressive, can sensitively reflect social changes. However, the current research on new words stays in the analysis of word formation because lack of further research on the new words teaching.The scope of the study of new words and expressions in this paper refers to:the new income words of Modern Chinese Dictionary in 2012 sixth edition of June compared with the previous edition Modern Chinese Dictionary published in 2005 This paper is divided into four parts to study new words in Teaching Language as Second Language teaching.The first part of this paper summarize the background and current situation of new words, points out the significance of new Chinese words teaching.The second part takes about three thousand new words recorded of the sixth edition of "modern Chinese Dictionary" as the research object, describes and analyses the origins of new words, characteristics in terms of syllable,meaning, morphological.The third part of this paper makes an investigation and analysis of present situation of the teaching of new words in Teaching Chinese as Second Language in China, investigate the teachers and students’ use of new words and the necessity to understand new words in Teaching Chinese as Second Language Teaching.The fourth part of the paper puts forward some specific suggestions from the point of view of teaching and some suggestions of problems should be paid attention to in teaching, hoping to improve the quality of teaching new words in Chinese as Second Language. |
