The relationship of China and Mongolia are very good these years, and it paves the wayfor Mongolian people to learn Chinese. The strongest relationship the two countries have, themore Mongolian people learn Chinese. It can be seen through the increasing number ofMongolian learn Chinese, a lot of colleges and universities also offer Chinese language courses.It is important to find suitable and effective Chinese teaching mode along with thedeepening of Chinese language teaching theory and continuous extensive practical experience.It is the common target for all Chinese language teaching and researching staff. This thesis firstintroduce the distribution of Mongolia Chinese language teaching, which Mongolian NationalUniversity and Ikh Zasag University can be represented as Mongolia city and pasturing area inteaching Chinese language. This thesis chooses those universities as the research subject,through times of observation, interview and survey methods to understand the situation onChinese language teaching in these universities. Moreover, this thesis also shows entirely thecurrent situation of Chinese language teaching in university of Mongolia city and pasturing area,where all the teachers condition, students condition, course setup condition and the used ofteaching materials are taken into analysis. In addition, the main reasons to the restrictions ondevelopment of Chinese language teaching in these Universities are found such as education isnot priorities, short of teachers, deficient in teaching materials, and in Mongolia University doesnot focus on learning Chinese language foundation. At last, this thesis brings up somesuggestions about the government department and the universalities.This thesis can be seen as the study of Chinese language teaching in Mongolia besideUlaanbaatar area to fulfill the empty of the research. The author of this thesis hopes that it caninterest even more researcher to further study and improve the topic. While author also hopethis thesis can be the reference for the future researcher when researching Mongolian Chineselanguage teaching. Therefore, this thesis has its value.
