In recent years, with the development of China, more and more people choose to learn Chinese. The development of teaching Chinese as a second language put forward higher requirements. There are many issues that need further research, textual problem is one of them. Although some students have a certain degree in Chinese, but it still have a lot of errors in their text. Their Chinese expressing are also lack of coherence. All these show that the textual teaching is needed attention. Based on textual linguistics theory and the theory of intra-language theory as directing theories, The thesis use errors analysis, mathematical statistics and other research methods, selected senior students composition as corpus analysis, investigates the situation of the students textual cohesive errors, this paper analyses the causes of errors and put forward the corresponding teaching Suggestions aimed at these errors.The thesis is divided into five parts, the first part is an introduction.It introduced the study of discouse and textual cohesion in abroad. On the basis of these studies, it also introduces the research status of Chinese, then followed the main contents and the research methods of the article.The second part gives the analysis about textual cohesion errors of these senior students based on the corpus. Firstly it defined the related concepts in this study, and then classified the textual cohesive errors based on the cohesive devices division method of Halliday and Zhuanglin Hu. Secondly it makes the date-analysis of the textual cohesion errors based on the reference, conjunction and ellipsis,etc. Thirdly it gives detailed analysis about the textual cohesion error.The third part discusses the causes of the students’ textual cohesion errors. It analyzed from both the perspective of students themselves and the teaching. From their own perspective, different ways of thinking, the influence of native language, overgeneralization of intra-language interference and the communication strategy choice of avoidance strategy are all the factors that affect students’ textual cohesion. From the teaching point of view, the impact of teaching philosophy, the shortage of the textbook are also the causes of the students’ textual errors. Lack of theoretical research will be another factor which affects the Chinese textual teaching.The fourth part gives some suggestions on the basis of the analysis of the third part. For individual learners, it is recommended that the learners by cultivating Chinese language sense to transform the mode of thinking, to overcome the psychological barriers to change communication strategy. In terms of teaching, it should be strengthen the awareness of textual teaching, according to the results of analysis of the errors, readjust the teaching material, changing teaching ideas, improving teaching methods, so as to improve students’ expression skills.The last part is the conclusion.It summarizes the research of this article and points out its shortcomings. It also points out that some further research will be needed in this field.
