The complement with "de" is frequently used in Chinese. It is flexible in structure and complicated in meaning. There is no corresponding form of it in many languages. Therefore, it has become the difficult point in international students’learning.This paper, from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a second language, simplified the complicated complement with "de", through the analysis of its structure and the analysis of the semantic relations between the subject, the perspective and the complement of a sentence. According to the investigation of students’ acquisition and the analysis of the errors, the paper discussed the reasons why students produce such errors and suggestion on teaching is put forward.The paper is composed by five parts. There are three main parts in addition to the introduction and the conclusion. The introduction part introduces the research status of complement with "de", the research scope of this paper, the significance of research and the resource of corpus. The first main part is the syntactic analysis of the complement with "de", and the second main part is the analysis of the semantic relation. The complement with "de" is difficult to learn is partly due to its own complexity. These two parts are to solve the problem of the complexity of the complement with "de", to let students know its structure clearly and understand its meaning better. Once the structure is mastered and the meaning is understood, the problem of complexity is solved. The third main part is to solve the problem except the complexity of the complement with "de". This part investigates students’ acquisition of the complement with "de", analyzes the category of errors as well as the causes of errors, and puts forward suggestion on teaching. The conclusion part is the summary of the whole paper.
