| Films have been drawing more and more attention in recent years, documentaries, to be specific, are widely interpreted as direct historic materials. This essay focuses on Mr. Sun Mingjing from University of Nanking, who shot more than one hundred educational films between the early 1930s to late 1940s. Many of his films were spread widely at the time. It aims to discover the inner motive of the educational film movement and tries to analyze the patterns of the films. Meanwhile, the relationship between historiography and historiophoty would also be concerned. |
