Wu Dayu is an art educator, some people study his contributions to the education ideas, from this point of view.This paper is to study the Intentional Painting of Wu Dayu, the exact point is to study the visual language of his late paintings of imagery,and the conclude the Imagery Features of Wu Dayu’s works. Based on this point,we put Wu Dayu’s workings into the development of modern art of China, and explore the formation, the development and the characteristics of Wu Dayu’s Intentional Painting, and the relationship with modern art.The article is divided into four parts, the first part, the interpretation of Imagery and Intentional Painting.
