During Qing Dynasty of China, the official exchanges between China and other countries were often dubbed as the "tribute", which had become almost conclusive facts.Early studies on this issue, scholars and the government sources generally believed that the bilateral relations between China and other countries mainly originated from China’s powerful prestige. On one hand, these countries which entered the tribute system were attracted by Chinese advanced science, policies, cultures and its strong military. On another hand, if these countries were not attracted by Chinese advanced science, policies, cultures and its strong military, they also would enter the tribute system because they had no choice. Chinese powerful prestige would force them into the system.Since1990, another group of emerging scholars have improved that the truth of the so-called "tribute" is actually the exchanges between China and other countries. What exactly are the exchanges? They are the trades between two countries. They can exchange the different luxuries, rare products and so on. However, the truth is these foreign countries intend to obtain high fine reward items from China by holding a series of objective economic activities with it.Regardless of the former viewpoint or the latter viewpoint, I consider that there are a large amount of historical problems which are not simple linear causality. At the same time, Myanmar is relatively close to the geographical position in China. So I pick it out as a representative to illustrate a special phenomenon:In order to obtain the political and military support from China, Myanmar pretend to admit that he is a brother of China and China is superior to him. But actually, this is a feint.
