Research On The Construction Of Hui Nationality 's Dance Teaching Material

The Hui nationality is one of the most distinctive minorities in China. Although owning a quantity of population which ranks the third among minorities, unlike others, Hui nationality lives together in certain areas and does not experience a chronic process of change of social pattern. The formation of Hui nationality is gradual. This nationality developed a close relationship with local residents after entering Central Plains. And it is the close relation with inhabitants that contributes to the formation of Hui nationality. The religion of Hui nationality is Moslem, which is the core culture of this nation and makes the whole nationality together forcefully. All of these have a profound and lasting influence on the art of dance of Hui nationality. The historical development of this nation makes its art of dance remain the tradition, which conversely sets barriers for the study of dance of Hui nationality. Recently, a great number of Hui nationality’s dance products come to the public and with the shared efforts from terpsichoreans in China, the development of this artistic form is comparatively rapid. As a consequence, the publication of teaching material of Hui nationality’s dance art will be an unstoppable trend. The book Hui nationality’s dance teaching from Professor Wang Yumei becomes authoritative teaching materials in China among the Hui nationality’s terpsichorean and contributes to the further development of this art and help establish a more systematic and more standardized teaching system. Furthermore, this textbook is just a beginning. Urioer the system of universal dance teaching of Hui nationality, the construction of relevant textbook is still insufficient. Influenced by the distinctive culture, this article focuses on the Hui nationality’s dance and analyses the textbook Hui nationality’s dance teaching from Professor Wang Yu Mei, wishing to make a solid foundation for the construction of Hui nationality’s dance teaching material through the research on this textbook. At the same time, this article draws lessons from education,ethnology, aesthetics and other nations’ dance teaching materials in order to support the development of dancing textbook of Hui nationality in future and play a positive influence during the process of the development of Hui nationality’s dancing textbook.
