A Study On The Problems Of "Two South" In The Book Of Songs

“Zhou Nan” and “Shao Nan”, were refer to as “Two south”. Because of the particularity of its name and position, has always been of concern for the “book of songs” researchers. Therefore, the problems related to the “Two south” controversial, the experts for “Two south” in the meaning of name, geographical and creation time s and other issues have not reached a consensus. This article will be divide into three chapters to prove the meaning of “Two south”, and the collecting region of “Two south”, and “Two south” creation time.The first chapter, the textual research of “Two south” name. The former viewpoint about “Two south” name, sum up into two categories, namely the angle of regional interpretation of its name and from music angle adjustable interpretation of “Two south” name. From the view of comme nt, and criticism of reference “Two south” for the tone said, through researched and draw a new conclusion: “Two south” for the Zhou Gong and Zhao Gong according to popular in Jianghan Basin of the Chu state as the center of Southern music and restructuring of the music. Because of the Zhou Gong and Zhao Gong adapted different Southern Music so “Two south” was divided into “Zhou Nan” and “Shao Nan”. Because “Two South” is two tone, so the concert with “Zhou South” tone poems, were in the “Zhou Nan”,and the concert with“Shao Nan”tone poems were in the “Shao Nan”. And a tone generated at the beginning, must have a fixed geographical, but with the music to pop up, then no longer under its origin restrictions. Because who can pop up music, must have its unique charm, Therefore, people in different places and at different times of the people can use this music to sing.On the basis of the above views, the second chapter research on "two south" poetry origin. Firstly, “two south”origin as "Zhou Yuan" said, “Jianghan” said, “Dong du Luoyi” said view review. Secondly, selecting five poems in “Zhou Nan” and “Shao Nan”, conduct research revealed from the poem’s geographical information, come to a conclusion that the five poems were collected from present-day Shanxi, the territory of Henan, Jianghan Basin conclusion. It proved "Two south" poem s to music for the transfer standard are not included, by the regional poetry collection standard, so the “Two south” poems are not all taken from the same area.The third chapter is based on the first chapter view, carry on research to the “Two south” poem s creation time. Firstly,comment on several viewpoints of “Two south” creation time, there are the “Eastern Zhou Dynasty”, “the Western Zhou Dynasty”, “Western Zhou Dynasty view point of view at the end of the beginning of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty view ”. Thinking of these views are insufficient. Therefore, selecting “Zhou Nan” and “Shao Nan” three poems in the detailed research, ranging from the three poems characters, objects of textual research revealed the time of information and other clues, obtained three poems in the early Western Zhou Dynasty, the Western Zhou Dynasty were in the period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, K ing Huan period conclusion.
