Prints Drifting Plan

The Floating Printmaking Project is operational system for organizing, creating, disseminating and showcasing art work through socialized medium. The project intends to explore a new mode of exhibition on the basis of socialized medium as its platform. All the participants of project are, at the same time, the artists, the curators as its advocates. The multi-roles of the participants fit the definition of "play-communication" in The Play Theory of Communication. It forms a competitive mode of game of art in social media, which compels the participants to positively involves in the making and research of the artworks, and on the their own initiative, to communicate through we-media.In the process of the project, inspired by the creativity of the participants, the thesis developed a critical analysis on the existing exhibition system and mass education, and developed an experimental approach on the new mode of exhibition by the use of socialized medium.
