| Art is without boundaries while culture is originated from the various sources; the media can be controlled to some while the concepts are totally distinctive.The media industry in China and western countries is distinctive due to the unique culture tradition. As to news cartoon creation, it possesses the ideology bear of news broadcast and the historical culture carrier with artistic expression, the integration of which is the outcome of the same and the different. When the western culture mainly the American culture product comes into our vision, our carton creator widely refers to the American news cartoon on the expression ways and drawing techniques of the cartoon language. Through the news award activity, it can be indicated the choice among the news product values by the mainstream press in China and America, and the definition of the outstanding works represents the mainstream ideology, the value orientation and the core idea of the whole industry, which is the important index to measure the overall level in news industry.This paper select Pulitzer Comment Manga Award between 2000 to 2013 and Prize Comics Award of Chinese Journalism as comparison objects, attempting to found interaction and influence of two top awards and the respective State News cartoonist cartoon idea and focus on the main causes of variance analysis.Chapter 1 and 2 unscramble the research status of China News Cartoon Prize and Pulitzer Award for Comic, and present a brief description and analysis of two awards systems and awards standard. Chapter 3 and 4 conduct text comparison of award-winning works, taking view from their topics and presentations, respectively to identify differences in manifestation.chapter 5 perform comprehensive study on the causes of these differences, focusing on analysis of formation mechanism of Journalism News Cartoonist and artistic creation idea in these countries.
