On The Art Of Shaanxi - Style Bamboo Flute

The art of bamboo flute with Shaanxi style is called "The Style of Chang’an Flute" in the field of flute, and its works as well as their performing style are special and unique in-China. The flute musics mainly possess the local characteristics of Shaanxi. Through the creative accumulation of many composers and performers who are professional in bamboo flute, it has formed a distinct characteristics of Qin Di bamboo flute music and performing style which has made a profound influence on the development of Chinese bamboo flute since the20century. This paper introduced the formation of Shaanxi’s flute style. Taking a bamboo flute music<Qin Yin> which is created by Liu Kuanren as an example, the paper summed up the information of the composer and the creation background of the song, and it had a description of the source material. From the perspective of analyzing the song and performing method, the paper has investigated the bamboo flute with the style of Shaanxi and displayed the distinct musical image and expressive means in order to have an insightful overall understanding of the creation material, performing style, position as well as the significance of bamboo flute with Shaanxi style.
