Chinese Culture Education Design Of Chinese Lunar New Year

Zodiac is not only exists in Chinese traditional culture, but in many countries like Thailand, Burma and Vietnam, and Zodiac in different countries have different features. This paper is focus on Thailand, we analyzed the differences in Zodiac culture between China and Thailand. We took Wat Rakhang School as a sample to illustrate Zodiac culture class.This paper analyzed meaning and the use of Chinese Zodiac in Chinese, in which the range and rate for Zodiac animals and Zodiac culture using, and emphasized the importance of Chinese Zodiac culture in Chinese. Then we put forward that the necessity to choose Chinese Zodiac culture for teaching in the teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages, by the view of the particularity of it. Although Zodiac exists in many countries, they have some similarities as well as differences. For it’s culture background in different areas, and cultural diffusion, development and evolution. So we concluded some Zodiac culture differences between China and Thailand. Teaching design is the soul and source for teaching practice, and it’s also can well embodies what teaching content, ideas and method.The innovation point in this paper is that we have a comparative analysis for the teaching design about Zodiac culture by Chinese teaching from China and Thailand. We concluded advantages, disadvantages and teaching principles-they followed. This comparative analysis showed us the practice way and gave us reference for teaching Chinese culture to speakers of other languages.
