The classifier is a remarkable property of the Asia languages. Hmong is a rich language in classifiers. However, there have been no systematic studies of the collocation of classifier-noun in Hmong. The present paper addresses itself to the collocation of classifier-nouns in Qiandong Miao.On the basis of the data collected from literature and further checked by a native speaker, this paper analyze the combination of the classifiers and the nouns in Qiandong Miao. We mainly research the combination features from two aspects which are descriptive linguistics and cognitive linguistics. The content is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the simple introduction part, mainly on the Hmong and the Qiandong Miao, the research background, research object and method, the research steps and innovation. The second chapter focuses on the classifier source, classification, position, and the introduction of the definition and classification of the noun. The third chapter is divided into three sections:the introduction of the classifiers which weight and measure somethings, individual classifiers and collection classifiers. The fourth chapter focus on the combination characteristics of classifiers and nouns from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. The fifth chapter is the epilogue part.Through the analysis, we found that the classification function of the individual classifiers of Qiandong Miao is still very strong. The constitutions that a classifier can combine many nouns or a noun can combine many classifiers are so many. There is the similar or related relationship between the classifiers and the nouns. The nouns which can combine with the same classifier are a family, and there is similarity between the family members.
