Traditional national music culture is formed in the long-term historical development and keep in real life, has the relative stability of music culture, also Chinese, with Chinese characteristics and method of this nation, also has the intrinsic form and characteristics of the national music has a historical continuity and inheritance of music. In this paper with former Guo Er Ross Mongolian autonomous county of Jilin province as an example, to study the Mongolian traditional music inheritance and in today’s era of change.This paper USES the paper is divided into five parts to describe, the method of general part is divided into introduction, text and epilogue. And this paper use subject knowledge such as history, musicology, ethnomusicology, combined with each other, these disciplines will come. Good interpretation each problem as the starting point of research, analysis and data as the basis. The text for the inheritance of the Mongolian traditional music which is divided into three parts, the three part, this paper expounds the period from traditional society to the development period, and the change of the reform and opening up of the Mongolian traditional music.
