A Study On The Status Of Undergraduates In Peking Opera

Chinese Opera education has a long road. Especially in recent years, many professional schools all over the country have to face the problem about the source of undergraduate students of Jingju performance. The quantity and quality of students in Jingju performance are related to the inheritance and development of Chinese Opera education, talents’ cultivation and their employment, macro development of Jingju performance in Chinese Opera. Now there are the shortage of students, quality, and unbalanced enrollment. Literacy scores, origins, background, motivation, basic training from childhood, exemption, and roles factors, above all, the analysis is based on these and major influence. The theory foundation is the learning motivation in education psychology, which gives help to analyze students’ motivation. Learning Chinese opera need student’s basic training, so they could have been interested since childhood and would take on it in the future. The relating theory analysis is on the basis of SPSS. The suggestion that we can improve Jingju performance major in NACTA is to create an effective environment to enhance confidence and love their profession. At the same time, art academies should increase cultural universal courses and focus on universal education, better the exemption system, strengthen the social support, promote technical secondary school teaching ability, and tend to enroll the shortage of roles(hangdang).The study mainly focused on analyzing the survey about 193 students of Jingju performance major in NACTA. Make a data map according to the current situation of undergraduate in the Department of Jingju performance. Take an interview with a few teachers in this major. Analyze problems and reasons about source of undergraduates in Jingju performance major taking the National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts for example. Through the primary research of the source situation about undergraduate in Jingju performance major of NACTA, there is the hope that the study will provide reference to the relevant academies.
