The analysis of verbs is, necessarily, the analysis of language in use, it cannot be restricted to the description of linguistic forms independent of the purposes or function which those forms are designed to serve in human affairs. Verbs are the most frequently used words in any languages, whether it is in Chinese or English, most of the time, verbs are the linking parts of a sentence, it offers the main information of a sentence and it helps you to fully understand the whole meaning of a sentence. Verbs are the most closely associated with our lives and human activity, so which should be given attention in Chinese teaching. The meaning and usage of verbs both in Chinese and in English have some similarities, but there are also great differences between them. While some linguists may concentrate on determining the formal properties of a language, the verb analyst is committed to an investigation of what language is used for. While the formal approach has a long tradition, manifested in innumerable volumes of grammar, the functional approach is less well documented. we can find the similarities and differences in the meanings of the two languages. The same point where it is easy to acquire for English students, the difference is mostly difficult parts. On the basis of comparative analysis, divided difficulty levels to 18 multiple meanings of common verbs from two angles of the number of meanings and semantic relations. According to difficult levels, we have given teaching suggestions of verbs, and proposed some targeted teaching methods according to previous teaching methods. For the Chapter One. The main content is semantic comparison and analysis of multiple meanings of verbs. According to the number of the verb meanings, this 18 verbs are divided into six categories and comparison with the relevant English verbs. Chapter Two, depend on the survey data we focus on the questionnaire and do some analysis, try to find out the difference between two languages and we offered some teaching approaches try to help teachers teaching in a more balanced and reasonable way. In general, teaching sequence should be arranged from less to more in number of meanings, and from simple to difficult. It should be persisted the principle that High-frequency meanings priority and Low-frequency meanings are behind.
