This paper reviews several trends in art education theory and in defining " Humanities Attainment Education " along with a re-definition of the phrase " Education Through Art". Based on that, the author proposes the theory "Humanities Attainment Education Through Art", in which two models of educational activities are provided:"humanities acquirement education through art creation", and "humanities spirit education through art history, art criticism and aesthetics".In this paper, two field study cases are introduced separately concerning each of the models, The CREATIVITY Project, and Art History with Kids Project. Both of them consist of project plan, documentary and evaluation. Summary of the field study offers a preliminary proof of the models as well as the theory proposed above. |
